March 30th 2012: Belgium welcomes 120 Libyan patients

 

Belgium welcomes 120 Libyan patients including some with serious trauma which can not be treated in their home country. The case was defended by the Foreign Minister, Didier Reynders. He received the agreement of the restricted Committee on Thursday.

Didier Reynders visited Libya in February. On this trip, he pledged to support a project of Healthcare Belgium, an initiative of the Federation of Belgian Enterprises (FEB) to promote the centers of excellence in Belgian hospitals to foreign patients.
