October 25th 2010 in Brussels: Signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between Healthcare Belgium and the National Medical Holding JSC of Kazakhstan.
To collaborate in the following areas:
• sharing each other's experience in healthcare activities, including exchanging experiences in development of new diagnostic and treatment technologies;
• developing and organizing educational programs for medical and managerial personnel to improve their capabilities, including distance learning;
• organizing and conducting scientific seminars, conferences and other related events;
• developing joint research activities;
• providing information about new medical technologies and the experiences of participation of the Parties in international projects;
• facilitating in organization of provision of medical services for Kazakhstan citizens in Belgium;
• developing and implementing healthcare information technologies;
• interacting with each other to support the development of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kingdom of Belgium healthcare industries on the basis of current and completed projects;
• any other areas by which the Parties mutually agreed to collaborate.
